I bought these lights to replace 'christmas lights' strung as mood lighting around my lanai. The Xmas lights had become high maintenance as the bulb contacts had a tendency to rust out. Clearly, rope lighting was the answer to the problem. I am very pleased with the results and the product. The enclosed clips with screws) worked out very well and the connectors, for stringing multiple lengths, have quality weatherproofed seals. I selected this line as there were various lengths available that allowed me to get the exact length that I needed. The intensity of the lights is perfect.

Durable and useful product. This light rope travels around in my yoga bag. I use it for ambiance when teaching evening classes. I read plenty of reviews before deciding which product to buy. This was a good choice. Right now it's under the couch adding a nice under lighting to the living room.

I use these everywhere - above cabinets, below cabinets, showers, etc. The light color is not too white and the rope is cool to the touch. Now I recently found out these can be cut to size (see You Tube) and they are dimmable with the right dimmer switch. Great value and they look amazing!

Pretty dim. It's getting hard to find incandescent lighting these days but that's what the customer wanted. Needed to match some lighting in the unit that was installed 5+ years ago. These were OK but dimmer than the older strings.

I have used the same one of these in my classroom all last year, and it is still working just fine after hours, days, and months of use. I like it so well that I purchased another one at the beginning of the school year.Truly an exceptional product!

After reviewing several distributors of 50ft rope lighting, this was what I wanted at a good price. The wiring is parallel, so one failed lamp does not black out the downstream lamps. (In fact, it survived one poorly aimed hammer blow with only 1 failed lamp.) The light is incandescent warm, not bothersome bright, but enough for accent lighting and navigation. We mounted it up on a trellis, where it is plenty of light for the dining table below (but I'd surround all 4 sides of the table). I looked at LCD lighting, but finally decided that it was too expensive.

This rope light is an excellent easy to install for inside cabinet lighting for equipment racks in a sound booth. It provides just the right level of lighting to see the equipment and buttons without interfering with the mood lighting. It worked out as I had expected. It's very hard to find rope lights anymore even at the big box stores. So I'm glad that I was able to find this online on Amazon.

The 50' length was out of stock "new" but it was available in "Used" condition, so I took a chance and ordered it. That was a mistake. The rope light was delivered complete with clips and instruction sheet and it appeared to be clean and in good shape. However, when I strung it out, three different two-foot long sections of the rope did not light up. I was able to get them all to light up by gently bending or flexing the rope near each section, but as soon as I let the rope relax, the section would go black. I returned this rope light for a refund and re-ordered two New rope lights in shorter lengths. It is very easy to join two ropes end-to-end.

Comes with clips for mounting and very easy to set up, just plug it in. Unlike some other unit that require and AC to DC transformer that require a bunch of fitting. The light is a warm white. I am using it for the back of my TV to give me background lighting. No more glare from front lighting.High quality and will buy more.

Color of this kit is a soft yellow and not a day bright white, but they don't tell you this in the Ad Kit
