I got this for my almost 4 year old grandson just because I liked the molds and the carrying case , so I wasn’t expecting too much out of it. I was wrong ! This is a really great set. The sand box seemed like it might be flimsy , but it’s really not. It has held up to my grandson’s rough play. The molds are fantastic , and even the generic sand is great. Everything fits into the case too. It’s hard to spill as well. So my grandson played with it a bunch before he spilled a bunch of juice in it and ruined the sand . That’s saying a lot because he is a toy destroyer . He will often ruin craft type toys just playing with them once . I just ordered new sand for the kit. I highly recommend this product

The media could not be loaded. My little boy loves kinetic sand. This set includes blue sand. It is thinner than the name brand sand but he still had fun with it. I was soo happy that it came with the “sand box”. You have to inflate the outer ring and it comes with a pump. The “sand box” isn’t huge but it fits the sand nicely. Unfortunately our dog tore his up. The tools that come with the set add to the fun of this toy. We are soo very pleased with this gift.

Overall, this is a quality sand castle building kit for kids. I liked that it came with a nice inflatable tray that easily fits into the storage box once deflated. The kit also comes with lots of cool molds that I think would keep any kid occupied for hours! My kiddos loved playing with this kit!Drawbacks:The sand is not the quality I am used to from other brands. This sand is softer/finer, so it does get messier than other brands I have used. This can be a big drawback because the soft sand makes it difficult for the the molds to maintain their shape. You have to use more sand to make the molds firm enough to keep from crumbling. Additionally, the fine texture of this sand takes longer to clean up, since I found that it does not stick together as easily as kinetic sand does.The sand tray is a nice additive, however not very sturdy. It does not easily deflate. I find myself having to put the tray in odd positions and twist/turn it to get the air out honestly. I don’t think the tray will last long due to this factor alone.Overall, a good product. However I would recommend to just buy the molds, and get the sand separately from a better brand.

This is a great kinetic sand kit! Lots of fun and varied shapes to play with, nice carrying bucket, good sand that hasn't dried out at all and plenty of it, but the biggest thing is the inflatable play mat! Ingenious!! All of our therapists and anyone else who's come over to play has commented on how great the mat is. It keeps all the sand in one place and is very comfortable to rest your arms on while playing on a table since it's inflatable. We LOVE this kit!! I'll probably order a second one just so reach kids can have their own inflatable mat.

My two year old loves this but what doesn’t a two year old love!?That being said..it arrived with one of the clasps to keep it closed broken and the lid with a crack in it. I ordered this being of October, I thought I was going to give this to my daughter at the end of October for her birthday but I had too much other stuff and ended up saving it for Christmas so by the time I discovered the crack it was too late to return, refund whatever. I did contact Amazon to try. Even though it’s 2 lbs of sand as you can see it doesn’t exactly fill up the pool. They give you a pump to blow up, but you don’t need it, took me 30 seconds by mouth. That seems like one of those filler items like look what we sent you. The toys are EXTREMELY cheap and honestly there are too many of them and they are small. Not really good for a new toddler since they are still exploring and putting things in their mouth. My toddler is a little confused with the blow up pool, she thinks she has to get naked and sit in it to play. Not sure what they mean by easy cleanup.. if you have a broom and dust pan and consider sweeping easy then yeah it’s easy but as for picking it up, it’s not magnetic like or anything.You get what you pay for I should have paid a little more money and got a better quality product. But I was being cheap.

We got this for my daughter who was turning 6 and has autism. She absolutely LOVED it. I had seen reviews talk about how small the objects were but they are perfect for mini Sandcastle’s. We weren’t looking for anything to build a true large scale Sandcastle something that she could sit at the table with is exactly what we were looking for and exactly what we got.

Right away I should have known something was off with this sand. When we dumped it into the pool/tray..I spread out more like I was dumping out wet sand rather than kinetic sand. The color is lighter than the actual kinetic sand. When you touch it it’s like putting your hand in damp sand that dries quickly. Right away my kids hand blue loose sand all over them. This doesn’t happen with actual kinetic sand. It actually died my son's hands blue and we had to scrub it off. After we were done and went to clean up it felt more like we were at the beach, which is not what I wanted. The tray itself also is hard to clean. The sand gets trapped underneath the inflatable tube part and when you put it away it spill sand everywhere. I would not recommend this product.

Got this as a gift for my 3 year old sister. She loved it, and mom loved it too as the inflatable play thing that came with it definitely helped to contain it in one place. Of course she got some outside of it, as she is only 3. But the sand is great, doesnt dry out. Very fun to play with.
