It's tight can't where my hair in a ponytail have were it down for the hat can feel better.

Ordered an XL first time, too tight. Sent it back and ordered the XXL, fit exactly the same as the XL, no difference whatsoever.. So now I guess I just can't have a mad bomber hat because they can't seem to make them to correct measurements. I don't have some huge bulbous head- there has got to be plenty of hunter guys out there with heads much larger than mine and mad bomber caters to them.. Very disappointed..
