Amazing results.
I bought this optimistic that it was either gonna be a total waste of $12. or it was gonna be worth it ..and it was beyond worth it...My KYMCO agility 50 was maxed out at 29mph before I installed this, and now I can get 45mph and that was just with this installed, once I do the variator and the collar...I bet it will do 50+mph. Easy to install, no adjustment needed...did have a few hiccups occasionally if I was at higher speeds and let off the throttle some then got back into it, sometimes It would bog but I didnt do it again after those few times, but either way it made a huge difference.

Great for conversions
Converted my classic jap DS with this. Would have liked if the seller had more data on the ignition map but at less than ¼ the cost of a factory used replacement, it's still money well spent. Have been running this for a little over a week now tuning in the carb and timing while I commute to/from work and it's running outstanding. What was once a 2nd kick bike is now a first kick bike. Will try to update after a while, time will tell as far as longevity.

Swapped right out
The unit swapped right out. I cranked it over and it started right up. If you need a DC CDI unit this one is great.

Works Good
Put it in my 2015 kymco agility 50 about 1 year ago and it has worked very good. It unrestricted the rpm and allowed it to go 47mph (on a slight down hill). I made some upgrades and the screw in the little blue square thing got turned, which I seen it was for timing and I don't know which way advances or retards it.Update: read more on it and it explains the timing advanced adjustment. I just overlooked it.

Improved engine performance until the capacitor exploded.
The media could not be loaded. I would love to give this a glowing five star review, however, after in the bike only for a few days, the capacitor literally exploded. And blew through the plastic and left me on the side of the road, scrambling for another. I didn’t really get a chance to tune it at all or play with the performance curve however it did improve the run of my engine up until the point where the capacitor exploded that is. I’m not gonna say don’t buy it. I would say buy a spare though and keep a spare on hand for sure just in case what happened to mine happens to yours. Ride safe and always carry a spare. I’ve included a photo of the part of it that exploded. Also the resin it is contained within became a projectile and hit the back of my leg. If I’d been wearing shorts it would have definitely gone and cut the skin. It sent a good sized plug of resin out when it blew. Safety first. Cover those legs up when you ride lol.
