Quality at a great price.
Just got this camera today. I am impressed with the quality feel of the camera and the details in craftsmanship. This does not look or feel like a cheep camera. I have taken a few pictures just to test it and they seem to be clear crisp shots. I leave this weekend for a cruise to the Bahamas and plan to give it the underwater test snorkeling and snuba. I will update my review when I get home.

Do not waste your money on this Camera!
We were hesitant to buy this camera after reading the reviews, however we thought for one vacation it would be good enough. This was wrong! The first time we took the camera underwater it would not work and we got a reading from the camera that said “card error”. We bought a new card and on the second snorkeling got the same message from the camera. We did not get any underwater pictures or pictures otherwise from this camera on this vacation. The camera was a total waste of money. We were unable to return it because the return policy did not allow enough time between when we bought the camera and when we returned from vacation. One of the other people in our group had a “Go Pro”, and got wonderful pictures. That will be my next purchase.

This camera was well worth the money...it takes very good pictures and I had it in my pocket the whole day at the beach and at a watermark and it still works great...the batteries last as long as you would expect in an electronic device..my only complaint is that the screen is hard to see when the sun is shining

Mixed feelings about this camera
We got this camera to take photos and videos while snorkeling at the Maldives. and I have mixed feelings for it.the positives- its not costly.- view screen for selfies- very light weight- uses interchangeable/rechargeable AAA batteries. perfect when you run out of battery you can always insert new ones.- video quality output is what we loved from this camera.the negatives- we used alkeline batteries and they run out like after 15 photos if not less. (didnt test lithium batteries). the worst part, our camera start malfunctioning when the batteries run low. without warning. the only time the camera starts functioning back normal is when we insert a fresh ones. this happened with Duracell and Energizer and Kodak batteries. during our 5 day vacation we replaced new batteries every day. next time we will only use rechargeable batteries.- photos quality was below average quality. most of them were hardly good. on the other hand video quality was above average to goodDo I recommend this camera? if you want it for a "once in a while" beach vacation then YES. but for the long run, and for a weekly/monthly beach activities I would recommend proper underwater cameras that run in the range of $300 and above.

ok for the price if you dont have high expectations
You get what you pay for. Not a bad little camera, great for simple underwater snorkeling.hard to see out of view finder screens front and back, underwater or in sunlight. Need to replace batteries about every 75-100 pics even with no flash and power saving mode. I used the camera for 3 days while in Playa Del Carmen and Tulum Mexico after going thru 8 "AAA" batteries and definitely not seeing 20 Meg pixels quality (and yes I had it set to take 20MP)I'll give this camera to my 5 year old son to play with.also it is not shock safe. I took it horseback riding, jetski, and 4wheeling...it was on a long lanyard around my neck I'd set it between my legs and seat. All the vibrations and bouncing would freeze the camera couldn't turn it on or off, would have to take batteries out and re set it.

Awesome Waterproof Camera!!
This is my first waterproof camera, but we took it on vacation this year and worked out great. The first time I thought I would not expect much (just learning how to use it) but it did great. I would definitely suggest purchasing this camera.

I wrote you previously and you did not post it because it was a negative review so i may rethink doing business with Amazon. If you ask me for a review then have the decency to publish so that other people will not go thru what i did. I bought this underwater camera for my 21 yr old grandaughters birthday so she could take it to Cancun. She texted me when she took the first pictures and said they were all blury and obviously being action photos, not replaceable. The manufacturer contacted me the next day and suggested a few things to try but it still was blury. I suggest a better quality control (each camera tried before packaging) this is not a 10 dollar dispoable camera, and while we are there i once purchased a disposable for a graduation pool party and the pictures were excellent, but i wanted her to have a camera she could save pictures on with the sd card.
