6" Magnetic Metal Parts Dish Tray

Great for the tool room, great for the sewing room. I use it when I'm taking apart electronics and need to keep the screws from getting lost, for holding nails when working with wood, and even for holding pins when sewing. My ironing board is metal so it stays secure on the board when I'm doing intricate ironing work with pins and it quickly collects pins as I remove them when at the sewing machine. If I happen to spill a box of pins, the strong magentic bottom can be used to quickly sweep them up from the floor. They sell these now in sewing stores, but its cheaper to buy them from the hardware store.

As a backyard mechanic, this is very helpful when repairing my vehicles. I've had getting one of these in the back of my mind for some time, but never really did it. Now, after just one use, I am wishing I would have bought it much sooner in my wrenching career. It sure beats sticking parts in random spots, on the ground, and in your pockets where they get lost. For the price, this really is a must-have for any professional or hobby mechanic.

I know this is supposed to be for mechanics and woodworkers to keep their nuts, bolts and screws from getting lost, but I bought it for paper crafting. It has a nice base that stays put and a strong magnetic dish. It works great for when I die cut and the metal dies can just be put in the bowl until I'm done. Those pieces are not going to get lost or thrown out by mistake.

As needlework is my hobby, I was getting constant moans from my family about finding pins around the house. Along with a fear of one of my beloved pets or humans getting a pin stuck in their foot or "bum" I had a ah hah moment. Why pay for a needlework magnet or larger pin cushion, when I could use a vehicle part magnetic tray. Saw it on Amazon and bought two. They are used for collecting screws and bolts but this thing is brilliant for catching needles, pins and even keeping scissors secure while you're sewing.Arrived in the mail within a few days. Very good.....

I have bought several of these magnetic bowls. They are awesome for holding small parts while cleaning a pistol or rifle or for repairing something. The magnet is pretty strong and holds very well. They were received exactly as described and shipped quickly. A+ seller.

Fairly thick with a strong magnet. It does the job better than others I have tried. I deducted one star because the magnetism decreases as you move up the sides of the bowl.

I have two of these, one for my home and one for the office. I keep paper and binder clips of all sizes in here. Love this! It's a better looking option that the plastic office clip holders... I love my little metal tray. The kids also like to play with the paperclips on it - it doubles as a fun toy. The magnet is so strong that you can make 3 inch high paper clip sculptures with it.

After looking around for screw, bolts and washers that seemingly fled from outside projects I finally decide to get a parts tray. It has a strong magnetic field to keep parts inside even if it is knocked around. Its the right size for most projects. Polished stainless steel makes it great looking, it seems like it should last for years. The base keeps it level and steady.
