OBOR Tea Pot, Glass Teapot with Infuser, Teapot for Blooming and Loose Leaf, Large Teapot for 2-4 at Home/Office (950ml/33oz)

A great pot for brewing our favourite loose leaf tea. It looks wonderful with the glowing tea inside! Ideal for making a generous size mug of tea for 2-3 people. The pot being glass and the infuser being stainless steel, there are no staining issues, like our previous one, which was made from more plasticity materials. The only slight downside, compared with our other pot, is that, as the infuser is suspended above the base of the pot with the holes in the infuser going right down to and in its base, all the water drains out and, after use, the tea leaves have to be scraped out into the bin (washing it out at the sink would lead to build up in the waste pipe and blockage) The infuser in our other pot goes right down to the base of the pot, with the last 1/2cm being hole-free, meaning the leaves are in the small amount of residual tea, left after the tea has been poured out, and can easily be poured into the bin or compost. Only a small niggle - but a slight redesign could make this lovely pot perfect!

Aesthetically attractive looks on the table. The treatment is rather banal and simple, it is easy to clean, without additional efforts and worries about fragility.

This is a very useful teapot, a good pourer and very easy to clean. The borosilicate glass is amazing in that it really keeps the remaining tea very hot after pouring a cup or two. The strainer is effective and easy to tip into the compost container. My only quibble is with the detachable stainless steel rim that holds the strainer in place as it makes removing the strainer fiddly. Apart from this quibble, a super teapot.

I broke my previous glass & steel teapot but as a convert to loose-leaf tea, I couldn't face teabags again so wanted to replace it asap. This little teapot was very reasonably priced, but it makes an absolutely excellent cup of tea. It's really easy to clean and also looks attractive. What's not to like......very pleased with this purchase.

I wouldn't recommend this. I've owned more than my fare share of glass teapots (yes they are easy to break) so believe I'm qualified to comment.Best part of this pot is the size, but this is reflected in the price. Worth noting the size when buying teapots online, alot of them barely make two cups. Tip is to get a measuring jug from your cupboard and a couple of standard mugs then do some basic tests.This will at least fill two deasent size mugs, but reason one for not recommending this pot is that if you wanted just one cup forget it. The internal strainer doesn't go far enough down to make this possible.Also the strainer and rim is in two parts, not a major fault but the rim is a little lose and over fill it a little and the center floats up and bits get in "boo!". You can buy ones with this made all in one, much easier to clean and less parts to wash/lose.Fault 2/3 and this is the deal breaker for me. It doesn't pour well at all, in fact very badly unless you learn to trickle your tea out (which we have) be warned if you like your tea hot and value your carpet/tablecloth or skin.All in all its useable, a nice size but is fundamentally flawed.

It’s a good little teapot, smaller than I expected and only really gets two good sized cups of tea out of it. Have found it leaks when pouring which is really frustrating and cannot work out which bit is making this happen. The metal components are quite flimsy as well, I wouldn’t purchase another and may even replace it pretty quickly

Lovely little teapot. Pours nicely an is easy to clean as the insert just lifts out and the pot just needs a quick rinse.

Petite théières très sympa de look, pratique pour la laver, tout à l’air de bonne facture, certainement fragile mais pas plus que d’autres éléments de cuisine « en verre ».L’anse est de la même matière que le récipient, mais elle n’est pas chaude au moment de l’infusion.Rapport qualité-prix indéniable.

The media could not be loaded.  Ich habe die 950ml Version gekauft. Nachdem ich mehrere Bewertungen gelesen hatte, kaufte ich dieses Produkt. Ich liebe es, den Tee zu sehen, wenn ich etwas mit meinem WiFi habe. Es macht es schöner und der Geschmack ist besser. Das Produkt ist von sehr guter Qualität und sieht gut aus. Es besteht aus hochwertigem Glas, das (natürlich ohne Metallica-Teile) in der Mikrowelle oder sogar im Ofen erhitzt werden kann. Das Netz für die Teeblätter ist auch sehr gut, da es alle Blätter filtert. Es ist einfach, das Netz zu entfernen, und Sie können den Deckel darauf halten, um es warm zu halten. Ich benutze einen Kerzenhalter mit einer brennenden Kerze darunter, um den Tee warm zu halten. Der Topf selbst scheint sehr gut mit der Flamme umgehen zu können.Es ist sehr einfach zu handhaben und zu reinigen, da Sie alle Teile zerlegen können und es für die Waschmaschine sicher ist.Der Nachteil ist, dass Sie beim Servieren etwas vorsichtig sein müssen, da manchmal, sehr selten, beim Servieren etwas Tee verschüttet wird.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt :)

Corrisponde perfettamente a descrizione. La uso direttamente sul fuoco senza problemi. Veramente ben fatto il filtro: trattiene anche le minuscole particelle che in altri prodotti passano nel liquido

Le doy 5 estrellas porqué hasta ahora estoy encantada con mi tetera. La he usado solo una vez pero está muy bien, a llegado en buen estado y por ahora no se a roto ni nada. Veremos qué tal más adelante.
