Excellent product for controlling chronic nail splitting, but not a cure
This is a very good product for nails that crack easily or have ridge lines that cause splitting. It is not a cure. It does control the condition. Once it starts working, which takes about 6 weeks following the directions carefully, you can cut back to once a day instead of twice a day. In this way, a bottle will typically last about a year if you are frugal in how you use it. You can purchase it at your neighborhood pharmacy if you have the NDC number. You can also purchase it directly from Summers Labs. Sometimes it is a few dollars cheaper at a local pharmacy (try WalMart, Target, Costco and an independent if you can find one). The product itself is rather expensive for what it is and how much you get. Again, it is not a cure, it just controls the condition and you have to continually use it to maintain the results. However, it works better than anything else I've been able to find.

) I used it religiously twice a day as recommended day and night and after about 4 weeks began ...
My nails became soft, weak and peeling with all the gel manicures I was having done and I even developed a fungus on several fingers causing those nails to literally crumble away as they grew out! I searched and search the internet for a cure and came across DermaNail nail conditioner. Although I thought it was a little pricey at first I decided to go for it. Truly a remarkable product and since you don't use that much to my surprise it was very cost effective :)I used it religiously twice a day as recommended day and night and after about 4 weeks began to see some real improvement. Best product I've ever come across to regain healthy nails. I've highly recommend it to all the girls in the office. If you are looking for a real product that works? You will find it in DermaNail !

It works, give it time...
I bought this on the recommendation of my dermatologist back in September 2015. The nail on my big toe split several years before (bad split). No matter what I tried (trimming it back under the split like a meniscus cleanup or superglue to the split) it wouldn't grow right. I was to the point I wanted to have the nail removed and hope it grew back. The dermatologist recommended the DermaNail. I read the reviews with mixed thoughts and bought it anyway (it was cheap enough). I was hoping for a quick cure, but stuck with the application every day. Finally after about 18 months (more than enough time for the nail to grow fully out at least 1X or more) the split finally appears to be gone. I'm going to keep applying the DermaNail to the nail until the bottle is exhausted for good measure. I gave it 4 stars only because it took SO LONG or I'd have given it 5 stars. So hang in there, it worked for me and hopefully will for you as well. Thanks DermaNail.

Don't use acetone if you have genetically weak nails. But otherwise, not a terrible product.
This did help slightly with my very difficult to grow, thin, weak, brittle, peeling nails (i have pretty much everything wrong that can go wrong with nails. It's genetics). The first coat of paint I did after the full 8 weeks of this treatment lasted a whole week. I've never had normal nail polish last that long. My nails were able to grow quickly using nail polish as the supporting structure (check out loudi That shows that this does work to an extent if you have genetically weak nails like I do.However, my nails, when natural, still couldn't grow very long. They were still weak without nail polish and would break frequently. So I continued to use nail polish to grow them long. But then i ruined the progress I made by using acetone nail polish remover. Please do not use acetone if you have genetically weak nails. I am doing a second course to help heal the damage I did to my nails with the acetone and going back to my non-acetone nail polish remover. The acetone dried out my nails to the point that they were breaking below the free edge and into the nail bed.

It works!
This product was recommended by my dermatologist for my fingernails which were peeling, splitting and breaking after leaving wet gloves on for a few hours while doing yard work. For over a year, I had tried every over-the-counter product I could find and nothing worked. The instructions for DermaNail suggest applying it twice a day at the top of the nailbed and indicated that it could take 8 to 12 weeks to correct the problem. By the end of eight weeks, there was very little trace of any problems with my nails and at the end of twelve weeks, the nails were perfect. I am continuing to use DermaNail at least once a day. As a result of seeing my nails before, during the application period, and after twelve weeks, my daughter and three of my friends have begun to use the product. This is the first time I have ever raved about any product.

my 4th bottle!!!
Okay, you need to try this stuff! It takes at least 8-12 weeks, because you applit it to the base of your nail by your cuticle. Then, your nail needs to grow out fully. You WILL see a difference! My whole life, I was a nail biter. Short, stumpy nails that peeled. I wore acrylics, wraps, UV gel, and those the UV color polishes - but they left my nails a mess. I used this upon the advise of my dermatologist. After 3 months, YES - my nails grew! I apply this product to the base by the cuticle, and on the edges when I wear nailpolish and it keeps my polish on for a full week. Ladies, do yourselves a favor - I never would have thought this stuff would work but I am ordering my fourth bottle today. Love it!!!

Really works but be patient!
Dermanail really works. You have to be patient because it takes a few months, the damaged nails have to grow out some, before you see a difference. I have used this product for years and highly recommend it, the only thing that really seems to work for me. I got lazy for a few months and wasn't using it regularly, and my nails got weak and raggedy again, so now I am back to it. Glad Amazon carries it!

Worth Your Patience!
P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E! You must have patience, and be diligent about applying DermaNail twice a day as directed. I have the world's worst nails. My dermatologist told me that one of my split nails was actually "dead." I'm half-way through my second bottle (it lasts several months), and my paper-thin, weak nails which were split and peeling, are stronger, no longer peeling, and actually growing. Even the split nails are stonger and growing. I have tried other products for problem nails, but this is the only one I've ever tried that actually works. DermaNail was recommened to me by my dermatologist.
