My husband hates this pillow...
But I *LOVE* it! Admittedly, I was not an immediate fan. I already have a very comfortable mattress and was sleeping fine—had no trouble staying on my side and was having no pain—but in my enthusiasm to do ALL THE PREGNANCY THINGS, I tried to use this much sooner than I actually needed it (at 20 weeks). At that point, the Snoogle just got in my way, felt restrictive, and truthfully wasn't that comfortable. All that changed when I hit 30 or 31 weeks. Suddenly no comfy mattress was going to help me. I was nervous that the Snoogle that was so underwhelming at first would continue to disappointment, but NO. This is when the magic kicked in. Suddenly that thing just felt perfectly molded to my body. Whatever support I need, it provides. It has kept its shape perfectly—if anything, just becoming more comfortable as I've broken it in. The removable, washable cover has been a godsend for those sweaty summer pregnancy nights. I have had so little pain in this pregnancy, and I 100% credit the Snoogle for that. Some have mentioned that washing the cover can cause tearing and that getting it back on is a pain in the butt. I've washed mine multiple times in 10 weeks with no rips, and though the first time restuffing the case took more time than expected, each time since has gotten progressively faster and easier—even at 39 weeks! It's true my husband hates the "wall" between us (honestly, I don't think it's really THAT bulky in our queen size bed). He seems convinced that this thing will be put away the second baby is born. But I can totally see myself keeping it close to use as a nursing aid early on... so he may have to deal with it a little big longer! If you're stuck between other shapes and brands, I highly recommend this pillow!

It seems silly but this is a must have.
I have eight decorative pillows (ranging from euro down to accent size) and two sleeping pillows on my king-sized bed. At no point in my pregnancy have I had a problem finding pillows to prop up my legs and my tummy or back. But having to use four different pillows all placed just right in order to sleep at night just gets aggravating. Even more aggravating is trying to get everything back into position after your second or third trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night, in the dark, while trying not to wake your hubby. Add in the inevitable 2-3 position changes throughout the night where you are again fighting with all of those pillows and the multi-pillow set-up gets old fast. My poor hubby eventually got tired of my tossing and turning and bought one of these for me. I scoffed as I curled into my snoogle for the first time, then promptly fell fast asleep. After that first night I was sold. The snoogle makes it super easy to change position in the middle of the night because it cradles you perfectly no matter how you lay on it. I keep the open side of the "C" towards my hubby so I can snuggle him easily. This position provides great back support. Keeping the snoogle tucked between my legs (like the lady in the picture) really helps alleviate the pelvic pain that kicked in during the third trimester. I keep my normal sleeping pillow above the top of the snoogle for those times when I want to sleep on my back. My head rests on the sleeping pillow and my shoulder blades are on the snoogle so I'm propped up at a comfy angle and my belly is not total dead weight on my bladder. Sleeping facing the closed back of the "C" is also a great option when I want to ease the pressure on my tummy by resting it on the snoogle. I've also curled it up and used it as a backrest so I could sit upright in bed. It's versatile. General thoughts on the product itself. The pillow is somewhat firm which is good because it needs to be able to provide ample support. The cover is not the softest but that really doesn't bother me. I haven't tried to pull it off for washing yet so I can't speak to how easy/hard that is or how the material wears over time. Before actually owning a snoogle I thought it was a pretty silly idea. But having one has improved my sleep quality and quantity so much. It was totally worth it.

Investment Worth Every Penny!
I love this Pillow! It stays in my bed in the same form; open side turned towards the edge of the bed so it is easier for me to get out which maximizes my sleep. I have had it since I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks as I was very disturbed at night, thanks to those crazy hormones :) This pillow helped me relax and now it is my buddy every night. My husband wants one too as it is really comfortable. I am 16 weeks now and I only sleep with this pillow more on my left side as recommended by my doctor. I sleep like a champ! Of course after 4-5 pee breaks during the night; I still manage to dose off after each time. I always keep the bottom portion in between my knees for extra support which helps with any pressure or leg cramps. I think I will continue to use this pillow after I have my baby as it really is comfortable and contours to my body... hehehe *** I wish it came with an extra pillow case, it would only be fair for the price of this pillow... just a suggestion ***

Works well but cheap materials for the price
I bought this to help with two pregnancy related issues that started showing up around 18 weeks for me: (1) hip pain from sleeping on my side, and (2) rolling over onto my back during the middle of the night (which isn't good starting in the second trimester). I've been using this pillow for a little over a week, and it has definitely helped with both issues. I have no more pain in my hips and it keeps me from rolling completely onto my back in the middle of the night. As an unexpected bonus, it allows me to sleep comfortably while "leaning" my back on it, which is a pleasant compromise between sleeping on my side vs. back. It also allows me to switch sides without having to readjust the pillow, which is less disruptive to my sleep. I'm fairly short at 5'1", and it's very easy to adjust the curvy parts of the pillow to fit me comfortably. This could easily be done in the opposite direction for someone who is on the taller side. The only reason I don't give it 5 starts is that the materials themselves are cheap for what you pay for the pillow. There doesn't seem to be anything special about the stuffing, and the pillowcase is 100% polyester. The case is scratchy against my face. I've resolved this by putting a soft t-shirt over the cover where my bare skin touches the case, and that works fine. But for such cheap materials, this pillow should be less expensive. It doesn't seem like it will last long, but I'm hoping it will last long enough.

Great for Pregnancy/Breastfeeding
Im a first time Mom.. I got this at 5 months because i was afraid of the sleep deprivation everyone talks about around 8-9months. I didnt have trouble sleeping so i loved this because it was like having comfy pillows all around. Im 5'3 and this was perfect for my height. A total BODY pillow. I do have a queen size bed and my husband didnt have a problem with this in our bed. ( he even liked it !!) After pregnancy this was even handy for breastfeeding and now that my baby is 3 months i even use it as a boppy pillow during his tummy time. I totally recommend it.... I have washed it a few times and It DOES keep its shape! Ive never had a problem with it. I got it in the color grey which is like a light grey.. The color was as expected.

Got rid of my lower back pain; haven't felt this good in ages
I have been having back pain for years. Bought a very expensive memory foam mattress years ago, and it helped a little, but it never completely erased my lower back issues. Some mornings I'd be in near tears as I'd try somehow to roll out of bed and then have to take deep breaths to push away from the bed into a standing position. I tried traditional body pillows but the stuffing just wasn't right and I'd often wake up with the pillow pushed to the side (must have done it in my sleep). Same for just a regular pillow placed between my knees. Or else, I'd end up just throwing one leg over the pillow, which twisted my back and led to pain in the mornings as well. When my friends became pregnant, they raved about both the U and C body pillows, so I figured "why not." Purchased both to see which would work. The U pillow cushioned so well. I felt cradled and secure, but I sleep with my hand by or under my head and could not get comfortable because the stitching was so tight at the top. There was no give at all and I also couldn't rest my head properly without my neck flexing. However, the C pillow works perfectly. Since I've been using it, I have not had a single morning of lower back pain. When this eventually goes flat, I'm buying another one and will continue to do so until the company goes out of business.

Not comfortable for sleeping
I am 28 weeks pregnant, I wanted a body pillow so that it would stop me from sleeping on my back. I read all the reviews here and decided to give this a try, other body pillows had just as many bad reviews as they did good ones. It came really fast which I was happy about and it was super comfy when I was laying down watching tv but after falling asleep with it I woke up in the middle of night and my body was just in pain, I attempted to give it another try the next night and I still woke up in the middle of the night in pain. For some people, this may be comfortable but it just wasn't for me, you should at least give it a try though, like I said it was nice for lounging for me but not for sleeping and that was the whole reason I got it.

Let the Pillow Octopus Embrace You
Originally purchased this pillow to help with relaxation exercises for a birth class I was taking (Bradley) and it made the various relaxation poses much easier to get into without the need for a pillow fort of various throw pillows around me. I find the snoogle to be an appropriate size for wrapping around my body snugly as pictured in the product image, and the pillow retains enough flexibility to be stretched out into many other positions too! I didn't start getting full use of the pillow until around 26 weeks into my pregnancy (before this, sleeping with the snoogle + my partner was a little claustrophobic....think wrestling with an octopus in bed) but as my third tri approached I started getting hip and leg pain which I read could be alleviated by a side sleeping position with legs bent and spaced equally apart from each other, all the way through the foot (so your feet have pillow between them too and don't cross- this is important to preventing strain on your relaxin-possessed hip joints). At this point the snoogle became my best sleeping buddy! It replaced all of my typical sleeping pillows, even the one for my head, and I rest in a cocoon every night, occasionally with an extra throw pillow between the knees to give my hips an even wider angle. I also mourned the loss of sleeping on my back (side sleeping in later pregnancy is recommended to avoid the uterus putting pressure on the vena cava, and reducing blood flow between mom/baby) but I found that the unique shape of the snoogle allows me to create a kind of nest wherein I can lay on my left side, then rotate back and lean on top of the snoogle (pillow supporting the entire right edge of my body, but not applying pressure on my mid/lower back), allowing me a semi-back/semi-left sided sleep position which saves me when I cant stand being directly on my side any longer! (And Pro-tip, the snoogle can be morphed into a U-shape for leaning back into like a boyfriend pillow, and a convenient donut shape which the belly can be placed into for laying on your stomach for a period of time...if you can think of any *cough* activities where these positions might be beneficial for you. My partner is certainly a fan of the flexibility it affords us!) While I was a little skeptical of the initial price, I'm happy with the investment! I can only imagine how much more invaluable the snoogle will become as I continue to grow, and I adore the convenience of a single pillow to move around with me. It's going to save my life during some camping trips in the upcoming weeks!
