New Balance Women's FuelCore Nergize V1 Sneaker

Very lightweight! I usually wear a 7 1/2 but sometimes an 8 in a training shoe. They only had the 7 1/2 and it fits perfectly! I did remove the insole and put my orthodic in and it still fit fine. I've fractured both ankles so have pins/screws/plates on the insides and outsides of both ankles so it's hard to find a shoe that doesn't rub on those. Most athletic shoes (especially the slip-ins) have a high padded back and so much padding on the sides, that they are too uncomfortable for me. I love that there is no padding! My only gripe (not with the shoe) is that I received a pair that were used and had stains on them. I didn't have time to return/exchange because of leaving on vacation so I had to clean them. I paid for new - they should be new.

I ordered these shoes because we are quarantined to the house due to Covid-19 and I needed walking shoes so I could at the very least walk my newborn around the block. I was very hesitant as some of the photos made the toes look so wide. I thought it looked funny but decided to bite the bullet and at the very least try them. These shoes are AMAZING. I have narrow feet with higher arches, and these shoes while they did fit a little snug the first few times fit perfectly now. They are extremely light weight. I really enjoy that there isn't a tongue on these so I can just skip them on without having to dig the tongue out. They have so much support it makes my feet feel better just wearing them. They are also very airy so that's nice for warm days... Not so much rain weather. As you can literally see outside lolI have vinyl flooring in my home, and I always wear new shoes in my house first before I take them outside to see if I'm going to like them and these shoes almost made me fall several times as they become slippery when the floor is wet. And the material they are made out of looks like it's going to snag if it touches something like a stick... Or velcrow.All in all I'm going to be ordering more in different colors because I really like these shoes. :)Edit June 3rd 2021:These shoes no longer slip when on wet surfaces and they are still comfortable! They are easily my favorite shoes

I just got these today and so far I absolutely love them. They are very cute, comfortable and for someone with boxy toes, there’s a ton of room for them(I ordered a size 9 wide). I also have a pretty prominent arch and it’s hard to find sneakers that aren’t too tight once laced. The elastic band on the side seems to eliminate some of that because you don’t have to have them laced up tight for them to stay put. They are extremely lightweight which is great for my line of work which has me going up and down stairs at a quick rate of speed all day. After doing that for 8 hours in heavy shoes I almost always inevitably trip going up the stairs from sheer exhaustion and that’s hugely due to the weight. Now, I can’t speak for their comfort when used for a prolonged period of time, but time will tell. I usually go for a 3 1/2 mile walk daily and my old shoes were causing me to form blisters on the bottom of my feet and that’s why I bought these. I’ll have to update this in a week after I’ve done a few days of that to comment on that. I also should add that I have specialized inserts for my shoes that I got from my podiatrist so I’m only speaking on the immediate comfort of the shoes insoles. Overall I’m so happy I got them. My feet actually look cute in these.

These are cute and flattering. They seem to run a bit small - typically I wear a size 10, but they were too tight and I had to reorder in 10.5 (which I do commend NB for making, most brands do not have 10.5). The heel and arch support is good, but the support for the ball of the foot is basically non-existent. I bought some gel insoles that only cover the toe bed, and now these sneakers are comfortable enough to wear all day. Overall these are decent for regular wear, but probably not something I'd recommend to a nurse, teacher, or anyone standing/walking all day every day.

These shoes are great for walking and everyday use. They are my 2nd pair. Very comfortable!

I love these shoes!When I ordered my first pair a year ago I received the wrong size I got an 8 wide and then returned them for the 8 and a half wide. Everything about them was amazing. I need a wide toe box because I hate having squished toes when I workout. I prefer to have proper feel of the ground. it fit so well right away I was surprised. The heal was the right kind of narrow so it wasn’t sliding around. And the comfort of the foam was amazing but it didn’t feel so thick that I couldn’t feel the ground. It’s a good work and walking shoe.Fast forward to a year after and the shoes held up well the first thing to go was the interior (but keep in mind I wash my shoes once every 1-2 months.)So I decided to replace them! I receive my order and it’s the wrong shoe in the right box. So that was annoying but the exchange process was easy. Same style but the heal is way wider then the 8 and a half wide. It feels a little too short length wise, my big toes touches the end even when I stand up. It slid off my foot more then once while I was at work. The part of the shoe that’s wider is more towards the heal and top of the foot rather then the toe box area. It so strange that these fit me different even tho it’s the exact same style and size as my old ones. They fit well enough but not as they have before.Over all it’s a great shoe! I still wear them all the time it’s just a nice clean sneaker that I wear to work. Easy to slip on and holds shape really well even after a whole year of constant wear, tear and washing.
