Fotopro PL60 PL-60 60mm QR Lens Plate Quick Release Arca Swiss Compatible

This plate seems to be well made, however, the screw is not a d-ring and for a comparable price you can get the same quality plate with a d-ring screw from Desmond ( Desmond DPL70 PL-70 70mm QR Lens Plate Quick Release Arca Swiss Compatible ). This plate is fine, imho, if you're going to put it on your lens and leave it there but if you ever have the possibility of switching the plate from one lens to another, I'd suggest the Desmond over this one.This plate fit (barely) on my Canon Macro 100mm f/2.8 IS L but did not fit on my Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS L.

Good build quality...but not compatible with RRS LR clamp. Look at Desmond P-70 brand if you have RRS tripods since they slightly differ from Arca-Swiss.

Great finish but poor specification of the product. The metal used is heavy and the bottom thickness is too much that it doesn't fit well in the tripod head. The Arca Swiss clamp holds only half of the groove. Good for light weight cameras but definitely not for heavy cameras/lenses.

The plate is fine. Good finish and fit. However, I don't like the little lip on the end. It does not allow this to be used on my Sony A77II without a bit of modification. I had to put pad on the top so the top of the lip didn't touch the camera. The lip was intended to keep it from rotating, Thus it did not need a rubber gripping pad. Now the lip does not touch but the pad I put on does the job of keeping it from rotating. The slot they cut in for the connecting screw should have been a bit longer and then it would have fit perfect.
