Perfect fit for JK Wrangler roll bar mounting
I was looking for a secure means to fasten a 5lb Halon fire extinguisher to the rollbar of my Jeep, and regular worm-drive hose clamps just weren’t going to cut it. I wanted something that not only looked a little more “finished”, but provided a safe way to make sure the extinguisher wasn’t going to go anywhere before I needed it. I chose these stainless steel clamps, and after a little trial-and-error in choosing the right size, I knew I made the right choice. For anyone with a Wrangler JK, these are the smallest size that I’d use for the rollbars; you can go larger if your mounting clamp takes up more of the bolt, but for my Amerex fire extinguisher’s mounting bracket, these were perfect.

Too big for 2" od piping/coupler
It's a well made clamp. I bought it for the 2" outlet on my Garrett turbo using a 4 ply silicone coupler. I would buy a smaller clamp next time. It appears to be clamped enough to keep the seal but it is tightened all the way so I have no room to get it tighter if I need.

One tough hose clamp! Make sure you know exactly what size you need, there is a fair amount of cinch but once you reach the end of the threads that's it and if there is any leakage you are out of luck until the next size smaller clamp arrives. Learned that one the hard way. Still, if you need a tight uniform clamp that you can count on this will certainly do the job.

Worked well for me
Used on a 2003 VW Jetta TDI ALH. Broke the stock clamp the connects the intake hose to the EGR valve. Looked around and another stock was going to be at least $8+ and these in my opinion these are better. This is the correct size to use to connect the hose to EGR, After a little searching around I found that these clamps should not be torqued more than 75 in lbs so I torqued mine to 50 and seems to be working great!

Quality construction and welds. Most of the band clamps I see around the web use a single spot weld. This one uses 2 or three of them, and they are consistent between bands. I don't have any doubt this will keep a tight seal on my turbo piping for a long time.

Did the job where the screw type hose clamp failed.
Good quality clamp. Used on my Jetta TDI intercooler hose connections and the leaks stopped. Can apply a reasonable amount of torque.

nice
bought this to fix a coolant leak on my 06 f250 radiator hose. It seems to be holding on tight.

Best Clamps!
Very strong clamp, I only use HPS clamps on all my turbocharged vehicles. Including my duramax with 35psi of boost!
