HOW TO USE Dry Body Brushing Step 1 - Always use a dry brush on dry skin. Starting at the soles of your feet, stroke up the legs, front and back. Continue on buttocks, moving upward along the waist, to the back and across the shoulders. On the abdomen, brush using circular motions in a counter clockwise direction. Finish by lightly brushing the chest area and upward along the throat. Always stroke the brush towards the heart, working from left to right. Step 2 – Cleanse with Hydrating Body Wash to eliminate dirt and surface skin cells that can dull and dry the skin. Step 3 – Massage Restorative Body Lotion gently into the skin to balance and protect with lasting replenishment. Cleanse your Dry Body Brush once a week with hot, soapy water. Then rinse and leave it to dry in the sun. Precautions: If you are pregnant, consult your doctor before beginning. Avoid brushing the breasts, genitalia, face and open wounds. If allergic reactions appear discontinue use. A slight reddening of the skin (erythema) is normal; it is the blood circulation responding to the skin brushing. It is recommended not to brush on freshly shaved legs. If you are going to a spa to get body brushing either hold off from shaving your legs before the appointment or shave the day before.

I've recently started dry brushing at the gym and LOVE this brush. It's really sturdy and the bristles are very firm! I've never had a problem with the bristles falling out. I keep this in my gym shower kit and use it before going into the sauna! Love that I notice a difference in my skin's texture but also like knowing that I am helping to increase circulation and lymphatic drainage!!
