3 Legged ThingPatti Flip Lock Magnesium Alloy Tripod & Tripod Ballhead - Blue/Black (Patti)

I have been looking for a tripod to replace my super heavy older heavy duty tripod. Without a 4 x 5 camera and with a new mirrorless (Sony A7RIV) which is very light I needed a simple lighter weight tripod but did not want to spend hundreds of dollars on one.For $120 this one is amazing, it's sturdy expands to a good height and seems very well made. I guess time will tell but I am delighted so far. Clever design that can be used in many ways.

Overall I really like this tripod. It is very lightweight, easy to use, and looks cool!Opening and locking the legs is a quick operation, and it is reasonably sturdy. My complaints are minor; like another reviewer, I find the rubber feet get loose, and need to be tightened quite often. The hex head bolts that hold the legs also get loose, and you have to have two wrenches, one on each side, to tighten. The ring that locks the stem is a little difficult to tighten. Finally, the carry bag that comes with it is bit too small. To fit the tripod you have to collapse all the legs and reverse them, essentially turning the tripod inside out. This gets a bit annoying when I am out walking trails, and I have to go through the operation over and over again. If the bag was a couple of inches longer, I could just collapse the tripod and pop it in the bag

Bigger and heavier than I expected. Overkill for my Leica M system. Very well built and solid. The ball head cloth cover was torn when I received the tripod, but I can do without it. Highly recommend if you seldom use a tripod but still want a nice one. I will invest in one of their lighter/higher end ones if the need arises. Cheers!

It is a little heavy but for the price I can’t complain. All in all it really isn’t too heavy for how sturdy and how much it can lift. Well worth a purchase even if it’s just to try out, you’ll love it.

Going on a year of ownership and use with this Tripod and it is great.It has been moderately used but it still works and moves like new. Holds my Sony A7rii and A6000 without issue and is extremely lightweight. Compact enough to almost always have attached to my photo bag.A budget friendly essential to any photo kit.

Light weight, but stable in moderate wind on edge of a bluff. Can’t beat it for the price.

Super light weight and build quality for the money is very good. Watch out for the feet. Ended up using lock tight on them to keep the rubber cleats from unscrewing themselves.

Beautiful tripod, great design, lightweight, small and very clever name. I just wish they made an affordable fluid head for video!

Was going to order direct, but their price went up just was about to order, Amazon was cheaper.First rate tripod. Have used it for several months and have no complaints. Rock solid, well made and well thought out from a photographers point of view. Not the cheapest around or the lightest, but well worth it.A professional photographer friend of mine told me a long time ago, the one thing you can do to improve your photography is to buy a decent tripod. This still holds true in these days of image stabilization lenses and body's.Would highly recommend - and it's British!!!Hope this is helpful.

This tripod is amazing except the rubbish screw plate release - I had to spend more money to replace with manfrotto quick release. Also it is very disappointing that you can not bay only the legs or choose another head for the kit. Otherwise it is the best travel tripod that I have ever had. Much better than befree
