Will this work with a d-12 receiver from direct tv

Hi Kristen! The KING Quest is compatible with receiver models D10, D11, D12, H20, HR20, H21, HR22, HR23, H24 and HR24. This antenna is not compatible with SWM-only receivers (such as model H25 and HR25). Hope that helps!

what is the resolution 1080 or 720?

First thing, this product will not receive HD for DirecTV. If you are using this for DirecTV, then you most likely will get a resolution of 480, which is what SD is broadcast in. If you are using this with the UC1000 to get DISH, then the HD channels could be in 720 or 1080 depending on what the programming is broadcast in.

Will the king quest vq4100 receive satellite 101 signals from anywhere in the united states?

We are in Texas and we are receiving satellite 101, but I don’t know about the rest of the country. We are disappointed that we cannot receive the local or national channels, ABC CBS or NBC. We called King quest and come to find out those are on satellite 119 which our unit does not pick up. Therefore we were to buy another gadget for $80 to put on our satellite. So far we have opted not to do that.
