Having caps on both ends keeps dust and dirt from getting in the funnel. This is the straight neck version. I’d rather have the small funnel in the flex spout but this one does what it’s supposed to do

Here is an ingenious answer to a common problem.I store most of my funnels in the garage. After all, that’s where I use them. It’s a detached garage and, quite frankly, it can get dusty out there. If you’re doing any woodworking or sweeping, it can even get dustier. So, I began putting my funnels in large plastic bags to keep them clean, or stuffing paper towels in the end to keep dust out, because you do not want dust and dirt collecting in fuel tanks.The bag idea worked, but honestly, as good of an idea as it was, it was a bit of a hassle.So, what could be better than a funnel that has a cap on each end to keep the dust and debris out? No more cleaning dirty funnels before using them. Better still, they have a little handle which I used to hang the funnel from a rafter hook.It’s a simple idea, but a very effective one. And you don’t find many of those kinds of ideas in today’s world. So, make your life a little easier and simpler and get one of these funnels.

I bought this funnel for pouring 5-gallon heating fuel cans into my 275-gallon heating fuel tank if i happen to run out in the coldest biggest snow storm of our winter and the fuel trucks cant make it here. I have a 2" locking flip up cap on my fuel tank and the inside diameter is the same size a the widest section of this funnel, a snug 2". I simply cut off the small diameter lower part of the funnel. I set the funnel into the opening in the locking cap and it is firm and doesn't move or wiggle at all. The very top part of the funnel is shaped so the fuel doesn't splash out. I should have bought 2 and left the 2nd one like it was when it got here, it looked like it would work great for pouring gas into your car or truck. This might just make a great Xmas gift for your friends in Minnesota or Alaska. It is cheap and very useful.

The original package that came was an empty box so I was upset of course but I called Amazon and they were able to get me a replacement sent out the next day. Couldn't be happier great customer service

The caps on both ends of the funnel help keep it clean so you don't have to worry about dirt getting into your oil or gas tank. Plus, even though they cost a bit more now than they did when I bought my first one, they are still less expensive than other funnels I saw in the store that were not what I wanted. The one I already had before these (same style, same brand), is several years old, and still in great shape.

I've got a water treatment system that requires me to add 50 lb of calcite to the neutralizer tank every couple of years or so. It all has to go through a small 1.5" hole in the side of the tank. This funnel works perfectly for this, turning what used to be a crunched solo cup nightmare into an easy pour operation. Very well made too, none of those annoying plastic burrs you always have to shave off of most plastic funnels.

Nice long neck funnel, screw on lid keeps debris out, and fluids inside.

I have bought these funnels before, they are a perfect way to keep them clean. Simply use them and cap both ends.I wish they came in bigger sizes, but the important thing is they work wonderful.

Well made but be aware the spout is on the large size at 1 3/8 so will not fit most oil ports. I wish they made a large funnel like this with a smaller spout diameter for oil and trans oil.
