We found the turtle pictures in the sale ad awhile back and it is my dogs favorite toy! We named it Franklin and that is my Kieran’s precious baby, we haven’t been able to find and Franklin is going through some normal wear and tear, the black of his eyes have faded and he is starting to matte due to playtime and the washing machine. Anyway, I had been looking for a replacement and found this one, unfortunately I received the speckled colored one instead of the dark green turtle I needed. Kieran is obviously a little weary of his new toy but is starting to warm up to it. I might order again and hope that I get the dark green turtle in my next shipment. My dog apparently has a genetic mutation that allows him to see a form of green so he prefers ANY toys that are in the green family. Overall it’s a great toy and we are pleased that this was able to save us in case of the original Franklin’s demise. It is for the smaller dogs that aren’t rough chewers though so keep that in mind when purchasing.

This is the one toy that my dog will not destroy. Oh, she’ll annihilate anything else—everything else—except this turtle. She’s always interested in it, and it is loved.

My silky terrier has a toy turtle (like the one pictured in the Amazon listing) that is several years old and his leg is currently falling off. My dog babies this toy, and thinks he is the father of this turtle. For reasons he will not tell, he ONLY likes this dark green, Terry-cloth guy. I took a chance ordering this product (yay! A replacement!) despite reviews showing a different product. Sadly, I received the light green guy (which I already have). My dog is not fooled. :(

We've probably gone through 20 of these. No kidding. Our dogs tear it apart to get the squeaker (we have a 50lb husky and a 120lb lab whose goal in life is to tear out squeakers) but they looooove turtle!
