Worked well with Nvidia Tesla P40
Purchased this for my NVIDIA TESLA P40 GPU. You need to make sure your PSU has two connectors that fit this cable for the GPU. Otherwise you will need a new PSU. This has worked flawlessly.

Works perfectly on a Nvidia Tesla P100
I received two just like the listing said, thank you Amazon! It worked perfectly on the Nvidia Tesla P100 in a Supermicro 1U Server. I could not get this thing to work but then purchased this cable and the system came right up and the card was identified!

Parlo per la scheda P100 perché è quella in mio possesso. La P40 è la sorellina e non dovrebbero esserci differenze. La scheda Tesla P100 è una scheda solo per computing (calcoli). Non ha uscite per il video. Per essere inserita nel case di un PC classico, ci sono alcune questioni importanti da risolvere: - avere un alimentatore sufficientemente potente, dovrete conteggiare almeno 300 W in più di consumo solo per la P100 - avere a disposizione sull'alimentatore più prese libere per portare 250W alla scheda (50W li prende dalla connessione PCI-E) - raffreddamento: non ha la ventola sulla scheda, quindi bisogna fornire il raffreddamento tramite adattatori - alimentazione: ha un attacco a 8-pin, ma non sono gli 8-pin standard delle schede grafiche GPU. Quindi i classici cavi di alimentazione non si inseriscono (fatto apposta per utenti "consapevoli") Questo cavo risolve perfettamente l'ultimo punto: - il terminale del connettore è corretto per la P100 - dà a disposizione due prese per attaccare due cavi di alimentazione a 8-pin standard. Questo è importante in quanto si devono fornire alla scheda, solo tramite questo cavo, circa 250 W. Cavo provato e funzionante. Nella confezione ce ne sono due.

The cable works. I just needed 1, but this was still the best offer. It is a special cable for the Nvidia Tesla P40 24 GB GPU card (no hdmi).
