When I bought my house 4 years ago I was impressed with the hot water tap. Recently I was cleaning out the cupboard and noticed this water filter at the back - with a very old expiry date! I found this replacement filter which proved very easy to fit - just a quick turn to remove the old one. Very pleased with the results.

Well, I am not sure if the filter was any good or not as my boiler blew it’s gasket after fitting it. I have researched the problem and found it is quite a common occurrence when changing the filters for these boilers - so couldb’t say it was the filter’s fault. Sadly I cannot afford to replace the boiler so after 5 years (which seems to be a very good innings for these expensive “kettles” when researching their problems), I am back to using a kettle :(

Poor, Water came out dark grey which gave little confidence

seems to do the job cheaper than most others. fits perfect, water flow improved massively so just shows you do need to change your filter
