I was skeptical when I first bought these. There is the classic mothball odor, along with a sweet lavender scent. I discovered that these smells disappear withing 10 to 15 minutes of the time you remove your garments from the chest or closet. There really is no lingering odor as the bag advertizes. It will not intetrfere with any cologne or perfume you may be wearing. The best part is that my clothes no longer get moth larvae holes in them! These last about 2 months in a closet, and about 3 months in an air-tight chest. They will probably be the last moth balls I buy. All of the rest of them are too odiferous, and there is no getting the odor out without dry cleaning. They do the job very well!

balls last in their wrappings and keep the moths away. The best thing is the nice smell.

They are effective, but they assualt the nose and remind me of urinal mints. Fortunately, the smell does not linger on the clothes.

Have used these for many years. Easy to put in, no stink in my clothes. They do seem to evaporate quickly, but I guess that means they are doing the job.

I buy these often to keep rodents from destroying my cars.

The lavender scent is much better than the ordinary moth ball scent. Works well in closets, my preferred scent to do the job deterring insects that may sneak into closets.
