Not Good - Paste Dried Out Waste of Money & Time
I have used other kits to repair broken grid lines on cars in the past with great sucess. Initially I was liking this kit until I got to the repair compound/paste that came in a syringe vice in a jar with a paint brush that I was uses to using in the past. The repair compound/paste was nearly dried up and stratified in the syringe and nearly unusable. I had several broken grids and clearly even if the compound was good there was an insufficient amount to do the job. I got some compound/paste on one grid line, and it didn't fix the break. This kit might have worked well for others if the compound/paste was fresh. There is no expiration date mentioned on the kit so there is no way I would recommend this kit to anyone.

Worked as advertised with a little attention to detail.
I had to replace an inch and a half of grid line on a vertical pickup truck rear window. I had read reviews of other thinner paint type products that didn't work very well, so I chose this paste type product hoping it would be easier. My first attempt looked terrible, I tried to leave it thick for a single repair and it peeled off chunks from the edges and mid repair area with the tape. I cleaned that off and tried again, this time making sure the tape was tight to the window, applied a thin layer of the paste, and pealed the tape immediately. The tape still pulled a ragged edge and a little bit of the repair area, but I let that cure knowing I was going to add another layer. After carefully retaping and doing a second, then a third thin layer with plenty of cure time it looked almost perfect. I cleaned the area and put a very thin fourth layer, pealed the tape very carefully, and after it cured it was hard to tell where the repair even was. This product makes a perfect repair if you take your time and do as many thin layers as needed for the length of the repair.

Back defrost repair
It worked out ok. But the manufacturer needs to put more tape on the spool

Works as Advertised
Follow the instructions and you will get a working result. Apply the paste sparingly…not much is provided. I had several breaks to repair, so luckily I was able to stretch it and get away with 1 kit. I would give it 4 stars across the board, but it is pricey for what it is.

DID NOT WORK
The tube of "paint" was hardened and very difficult to extract. After finally applying enough pressure to get some out, I 'm not sure it was fully mixed. After applying, it did adhere to the glass, but it is not conducting the electricity to complete the circuit for the defroster to operate. Now I have to scrap off this product and try something else.

Repaired several defrost lines with an alternate application method
This copper paste worked well to repair damaged defrost lines after removing window tint. Application method specified in the directions used the plastic spreader which seemed rather messy. I used a 0 size (or similar) acrylic paintbrush to apply the paste and made 3 passes on each repaired area. I had lots of paste left over using this method. Using a good quality masking tape is highly recommended.
