This book is simply more of a textbook with ideas on how to Bible Journal.You really don't see much of "illustrated faith" products in Christian stores like you did in 2017.It is an easy read with teaching people some techniques about how to do this with a journaling bible.Simply, get a journaling bible. (Like Inspire, Illustrating Bible, etc.) You can apply paint, stickers, stencils, etc. and just personalize the word without adding or taking words out. You're illustrating what you feel like God is telling you in a creative way. It is an easy read and a deeper understanding on the concept of Bible Journaling in your bible. It is an easy read with some prompts on reflecting on what you learned by each technique. There is no right or wrong way to do this hobby, but can be expensive if you are trying to start out. But, it is an easy read book and I can recommend it to others, but you don't have to "copy" the text ideas to your bible and think that's the only way to do stuff. Just know it is a nice way to give ideas on how to journal in your bible that have worked for others and remember to enjoy the hobby.

I love this book! It’s got some super cool ideas and like I’ve said another reviews I’m just starting to type in items that I’m about to buy on other websites and realizing that I wonder if Amazon has that in sure enough they do every time lately and not only is it the same price but most of the time it’s even cheaper so you can’t go wrong but this was a definite surprise as I was skeptical thinking there wasn’t much to this book but it was actually pretty cool to read and see other peoples ideas it was fun then my mom also stole my copy so I think I’ll have to start buying this for gifts for people in my church group. :)

I’m thoroughly enjoying this bible journaling book. There are so many different styles and ideas from the various artists that I started putting tabs on the bags that inspired me. By the time I had finished reading it the first time through almost every page was tabbed. Now that’s inspiring! Some of the participants are truly artists and others are more like me, someone who can’t really draw but wants to be creative in their bible study journey. I highly recommend this book to both novices and experienced bible journaling folks. There is something fun for everyone!

This is a very "keep worthy" book! It's great for starting out OR use as inspiration. I continually go back into the book to look at different techniques and creative ideas, to help inspire my own entries. Everything is very easy to understand, the book is very sturdy and visually aesthetic!Great job, I'd gladly buy book #2. :)

This is not a bible journal with space for you to write. I was highlight upset that all the pages were filled with instruction on how to journal with little to no room to actually journal. Which is what I was expecting when I purchased it.
