After purchasing a new laptop a few months ago, I knew that I would have to purchase a USB hub, as my laptop only came with 3 ports, and I needed more than just that. The result of this led me to look online, where I stumbled across this product (Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, Ultra Slim Data USB Hub with 2ft Extended Cable) as it was Amazon’s choice in USB Hub’s. After receiving the product, and using it for a few weeks, I decided to purchase another! I am excited to discuss why I like this product, and why I think that you, too, will have a great experience with ANKER (regarding this product). As usual TLDR at bottom. PRO’s -This USB hub is extremely modern and slim, which I really like the look of! About the same thickness of my laptop (maybe around 1cm or so). It is also very light, which makes it easy to throw in my bag when I need to take it on the go. -I can run my webcam, microphone, mouse, and keyboard all on the same hub! This allows for me to utilize four separate products in a hub that only takes up one port in total! This really helps since the amount of USB based products that I used greatly outnumbers the amount on my computer, and I wouldn’t be able to use products I need without this hub! Do keep in mind there is a limit for the number of devices you can place on this hub, (check on listing description for more information), but I have had no problems connecting and running what I need to on this hub). -USB Hub comes with a warranty card and instructions which are both appreciated. Also goes into detail about customer service and support, set up details, and other information regarding this product. -USB Hub is available in black (not sure if there are any other colors), but they really made a nice-looking product! Sure, there are some cheaper ones, but in my opinion, I much prefer the look and feel of this product, almost premium. Middle Ground (Product information that is not amazing but not awful) -Cable length is advertised as 2ft, which is correct. I do feel that YMMV depending on how far away your desktop PC is from where you need the USB hub to be. I use a laptop, so I never have any problems with cable length, but I don’t think if they added an extra foot or two to the length would really hurt the product. (Might be a good idea for a future model). -Product feels a tiny bit flimsy, nothing that I worry about, but be cautious of holding it too hard, as it is already thing with multiple hollowed out points for the USB slots. -There is a small LED light that indicates the USB Hub has power. It is not bright at all but sometimes that you may want to note if any light at all bothers you. Really hasn’t been a problem for me, and if it is for you, just get a piece of tape. CON’s -Fortunately, I haven’t had anything that would be a con for this product, it just is all around a great product, which is why I feel it deserves 5/5 stars. If you are looking for a USB hub, I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed! TLDR: Excellent USB Hub all Around. Double check how much cable length you need (as this is only 2ft) but asides from that highly recommend.

Works good so far, sometimes cpu doesn’t recognize when a device is connected, its not related to any specific port on the product. 3 of the ports are connected to external hard drives powered by the usb and the 4th is being used for a Bluetooth receiver for keyboard/mouse. Last night it all worked initially then somewhere along the way the connection was lost to one of the hard drives. Issue persisted until i unplugged and replugged everything on the hub. Speed is good, honestly seems faster than what was. Im happy with it, well worth it even if there is some issue with power or one of the usb.

I was very happy with my usb hub for a couple months after purchasing it. It was doing the job I needed it to do. No complaints whatsoever. Then something went wrong. I’m not sure what, but all of a sudden the hub just wouldn’t stay connected to my PC. I primarily use it for my Anker SD Card reader and the SD card being randomly disconnected repeatedly is not great. Especially as a professional photographer. If that card gets corrupted because of a disconnect while reading/writing data, I’m kinda screwed. So I’m about to buy a new hub, when I figure I’d contact Anker and just see if there’s something they can do since I haven’t owned it for a year yet. I sent an email to their customer service and described my situation and how I had determined it was the hub since the reader worked fine plugged directly into the PC and other storage devices like flash drives and external hard drives also were disconnecting randomly while plugged into the hub. They got back to me in under 12 hours and asked for the SN on the device and my mailing address. They immediately sent me out a replacement product that arrived in 2 days and told me not to worry about sending the broken product back and to recycle it if possible. I was super impressed by the ease and speed that they remedied the problem and considered the service ticket to be closed. Then a few weeks later they sent me another email, just to make sure that the replacement was working properly and to make sure I didn’t have any other concerns. They didn’t need to do that. Any other company would consider my lack of contact with them after a replacement was sent to be the end of the interaction and proof that it was fixed, but Anker made sure to reach out to me on the off chance that the issue wasn’t resolved. I’m very impressed with the level of customer service they provide and how much they made me feel like I wasn’t just another support ticket in a long line of support tickets (which let’s be real, I definitely was). I have a few Anker products already, because I had heard good things about their quality, but they will be my go to brand for the products they sell from now on because of their amazing customer service. I feel so much more relaxed buying a product that I will most likely be using in my daily workflow knowing that if anything goes wrong, I don’t have to get a headache arguing with a company to get it replaced or having to buy another product outright when warranty periods should still be in effect. I highly recommend Anker. Especially if you are self employed and don’t want to add extra crap to your day when something that you use daily breaks. Nothing is gonna work 100% and things will eventually go wrong. Anker made sure that it was as little of an inconvenience to me as they possibly could and then went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the service they provided. That’s something that’s worth any extra cost (not that their products aren’t already competitively priced) over a cheap version of the same item from some no name seller on here. Do your future self a favour and buy an Anker product if it’s something you need. Hopefully you won’t need their customer support, but if you do this is the company you want to deal with.

Il cavo da 61 cm è comodo per adattarsi a qualsiasi configurazione, e le 4 porte USB 3.0 funzionano perfettamente anche con chiavette, tastiere, hard disk esterni e lettori di schede. La velocità di trasferimento è ottima, e non ho mai riscontrato problemi di compatibilità o rallentamenti, nemmeno con più periferiche collegate contemporaneamente. L’hub è anche bello da vedere, con un design minimal ed elegante che si abbina bene a Macbook, desktop o laptop. Il fatto che sia plug & play lo rende praticissimo: lo colleghi e funziona, senza bisogno di driver o configurazioni. Per il prezzo pagato è un accessorio indispensabile, e considerando che è Anker, la qualità si sente tutta.

A very durable built usb hub I have seen yet, which should make sense as it's 'Anker'. Has 4 usb 3 for super fast transfer speeds and charging. Very useful for a laptop.
