Don’t buy ACs in Amazon. Vendors won’t honor warranty
This was the worst ever purchase of my life. I bought this equipment motivated by the 7 year parts warranty. After 2 weeks of waiting, unit didn’t arrive. When I called amazon they informed that unit got damaged in transit. I reordered the unit and after 2 weeks I got the unit. I hire a technician to install it and spent almost a $1000 on it. After 2 days of using the unit stopped working. I called Bosch technologies to claim the warrant and they told me that I had to go through their official technician and that claims should be done through him. I contacted him and came to my place to inspect the unit charging me $125. After that he started the claim process but the information I received from him is that wholesalers didn’t want to honor the warranty because I didn’t buy the equipment from them. I ended up buying the parts. He installed them yesterday and hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy this equipment next summer. It is just amazing how I have a repaired unit in my bedroom even though I paid for a new one. I’ll never buy an AC out of Amazon.
