I like that these are bare metal. They arrived quickly and very clean; I did little to prep them for powder coat. These are heavy and look like they can take a hit.I have a 2012 JK Unlimited Rubicon with 3 inch lift. There is plenty of clearance to use this on the front diff. I also have a Teraflex monster front track bar and there is plenty of room.

Piece of mind, whether it's on a trail or on the highway. That cover isn't going to get punctured or smashed against your ring gear due to debris/rocks/retreads/protestors/downed trees, etc. Comes bare, will need to be primed/painted or maybe some pootercoat. I prefer my rear end in denim. Just don't make it so pretty you're afraid to drive it!

this is a bombproof cover, no questions about it, what they don't mention is that you most likely will need to upgrade your steering because whatever you have in there, stock or upgrade will hit the cover at full turns, it will also hit your stock pan hard rod, luckily I have an upgrade already that didn't. it deserves a 5 on construction and quality, a 1 for not letting you know about the clearance issues

Great product....looks like it was built for a tank! I had mine (front/back) powder-coated red for my JKU Rubicon X....looks great. No drain hole, but my axles (Dana 44s) have one built in, so it's a non-issue for me. The bolts are of decent quality, can't go wrong.

I have a skyjacker 5 inch lift. The rear sway bar has a bracket that attaches to the diff. This diff cover isn't compatible and that said, anyone looking for a cover that has a lift should know this is too thick and the shape doesn't work.
